New hotel in heart of Linz offers outstanding service, modern rooms, room service, a restaurant and meeting facilities near the upscale shopping district.

Park Inn Linz is a delightful experience for the traveler, with brand new, luxurious accommodations and top-notch service.

Located in the City Center near the Train Station

Park Inn Linz is located 1.5 kilometers (about a mile) from the train station, walking distance if travelers are in shape and do not mind carting their luggage themselves for about 20 minutes. A taxi can help for under ten Euros.

Landstrasse Shopping District, Main Square and Mariendom

The hotel stands one block off the main pedestrian zone in the center of the city, Landstrasse, known for its upscale shopping. In addition, one can find a supermarket as well. Follow Landstrasse for 15 minutes or so where it leads to the lovely and historic main square next to the Blue Danube. Along the way, sightseers can take a three or four-block detour to see the largest church in Austria, Mariendom.

Blue Danube Airport and Linz’s Event Center

The Blue Danube Airport is only 15 kilometers (9 miles) away, and Linz’s Event Center, Palais Kaufmännischer Verein, is just next door to the hotel. This is a highly desirable arrangement for business travelers.

Outstanding Service from Friendly Staff

The staff switches easily between German and English. Ask the desk clerk about sightseeing and he will go to great lengths to get you a map and fill your itinerary with things Linz offers that will suit your tastes, whether you prefer nightlife, museums or Neo- Gothic cathedrals.

New Non-Smoking Rooms with Private Bathrooms

Glass and steel, the Park Inn smacks of newness, and new it is. Rooms are decorated in a very colorful style using large blocks of primary colors with plenty of glass and metal. Yet, they have a cozy, tasteful feel.

Park Inn’s 175 rooms are all non-smoking and all have wireless Internet access available for an additional charge. Laptop-sized room safes make traveling with your computer easy. There is also a fitness center and parking garage.

In the basic rooms, guests will find the requisite telephone and flat-screen TV with satellite service as well as their own climate controls. The bathrooms have heated floors and hairdryers.

Business Traveler Facilities

Higher-priced rooms also include bathrobes, coffee machines and balconies. These rooms are termed "business friendly“ and include Internet access in the price. „Junior suites“ also have balconies.

Banquet and Meeting Space

Banquet and meeting spaces are available, too. There is a large ballroom that can be subdivided, as well as other meeting rooms for smaller functions.

Dining, Room Service and Breakfast Buffet

The RBG Bar and Grill with its well-stocked bar sits lightly in the lobby of the hotel inside the glass walls. It can seat up to 75 people. It serves up tasty specialties from the kitchen as well as coffee and dessert. In addition, guests can order room service from here as well. A sumptuous breakfast buffet is available each morning for an additional charge, too.
